With the development of science and the progress of the times, tower crane products will continue to improve.

The "2018-2023 China Tower Crane Industry Production and Sales Demand Forecast and Transformation and Upgrading Analysis Report" released by the Prospective Industry Research Institute pointed out that the life of tower cranes and other construction machinery is generally 6 years to 10 years, and it is currently far from the last peak period of the construction machinery industry ( 2007-2011) for 6 to 10 years, the industry has entered a period of concentrated release of demand for replacement. In the next 2 to 3 years, the space for renewal demand will continue to expand. There are three trends in the future changes in tower crane products: first, the trend of flat-topped medium-sized tower cranes (63t.m~500t.m), and large-scale tower cranes (600t.m). m above) boom; second, the technical performance of the three major mechanisms of the tower crane will continue to improve, especially the performance of the hoisting mechanism; third, the application of digital technology in the tower crane control system will continue to be popularized. Medium-sized tower cranes are flat-headed, and large-sized tower cranes are boom-shaped. First of all, the manufacturing of flat-top tower cranes can achieve modular production to a greater extent, which can promote enterprises to improve the modernization of process equipment and production methods, improve production efficiency and manufacturing accuracy, and reduce production costs. Secondly, the modular structure of the flat-top tower crane can minimize the tonnage of the lifting equipment during installation and removal, and the safety of installation and removal is higher. For the group tower operation of super high buildings, the boom upgrade of large tower cranes is irreplaceable for water balance boom tower cranes; Reduce the encroachment of space outside the construction site area. At present, there is a big gap between my country's tower crane hoisting mechanism, technical level and performance and foreign countries. The higher level is the LVF frequency conversion hoisting mechanism using the German "Flanders" orthogonal cylindrical gear reducer, and the Potain MC320 tower crane in-line type.

However, the proportion of cranes with backward technology is larger, such as the RCS hoisting mechanism of the Potain F0 series and the early π-type hoisting mechanism of Liebherr. Both of these mechanisms are technologies of the 1960s, with high energy consumption and short service life of the reducer. Therefore, it is inevitable that the technical performance of the three tower crane mechanisms, especially the hoisting mechanism, will continue to improve. In terms of technology and use, the hoisting mechanism of medium-sized and medium-sized (150t.m-500t.m) tower cranes should use orthogonal cylindrical gear reducers, L-shaped layout, and frequency conversion speed regulation, which will become the future changing trend. At present, the reducers of several reducer factories in China, such as Guomao, Bo Neng, Jie brand and other manufacturers, can basically meet the needs of the lifting mechanism configuration of medium-sized tower cranes in technology. Promote the improvement of the technical level and quality of the products of these enterprises.
